I have found that the civil war era has not been left out. Another reason for this is that many students feel that the war did not happen as much as they think it did . Some students think that the country was unified, but did not really have a civil war because the fighting between the North and South was for very short periods of time.However, there are some major factors that students must understand and remember about the Civil War. For example, there was no 'peace' when the war was over. Soldiers were still very angry about what had happened during the war, and they fought for what they believed was right.The topics of the Civil War are considered one of the most important parts of the research paper topics students have to write. Students have to be aware of who is in the South and how many people there were, because the boundaries were divided and strong. Also, the North wanted control of the slave trade, which is why they fought to prevent it from happening.Students must think about the things that are important to the North about the Civil War. They also need to know what the rights of the citizens were. Although there was no such thing as white men wanting to rule the world in the South, many people felt this way and did not want the Southern states to have any say in things that could be their property.There were many reasons as to why people fought, but there was not just one answer as to why it happened. Many felt that the people did not want the political and social systems changed too fast.The topics that students should write about in their research paper are always the things that are interesting to them. In this case, one way to be creative is to research the Civil War period and find many stories of people who still tell their stories even today.
